Chicago Palace is a functionalist building in Charvátova and Národní streets, in the proximity of the Václav Špála Gallery in Nové Město in Prague 1. Chicago is located a few meters from the Můstek metro station (line A and B), Wenceslas Square and the Národní třída metro station (line B). Tram stop is also close by. The location offers excellent transport links and all civic amenities on site.
Chicago Palace is currently largely used as an office building with retail space on the ground floor.
The building was built thanks to the cooperation of the young representative of interwar avant-garde Josef Havlíček and the top reinforced concrete expert and construction entrepreneur Jaroslav Polívka. It was built by Count Jindřich Vilém Kolowrat-Krakowský. The Chicago Palace, together with the Baťa Palace, was one of the most modern houses in Prague at the time.
