The Ericsson Palace is located in the very centre of Prague on Malé Náměstí next to the Old Town square and Franz Kafka square. The advantage of this strategic location is easy transportation accessibility thanks to the proximity of several tram and bus stops. The nearest metro stations are Staroměstská (line A), Můstek (lines A, B) and Národní třída (line B).
Ericsson Palace combines elements of art and culture with first-class office and retail space. This cultural monument, registered on the list of cultural monuments of Prague, meets all the requirements of modern architecture. The palace has a rich history. Its construction date back to the 12th century. It has undergone many changes since then. This office building has been completely renovated, and it still contains Romanesque, late Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classicist elements.
Significant was the late Gothic building modification, which created the right courtyard wing and a truly unique palace chapel with a ribbed star vault. This extraordinary chapel in the environment of old burgher townhouses is associated with the work of Matěj Rejsk, an important builder, sculptor and stonemason who ranks alongside famous names such as Matyáš of Arras or Petr Parléř.
